OKAAAAAY  Putting them in single wides, eh?

I like the fact that he is actually doing something and trying to solve the problem.  Instead of just talking.

Better than mobile homes dumped on the reservations here. They aren't the greatest quality to begin with and totally unsuited for rural poor living conditions.

The reinvented single wide.. but made industrially and affordable. Welded to anchors seems pretty stable. Seems like a cool solution if the shipping cost isn't to bad. Those awnings look like a liability where there big weather. Still as Bill said, the guy is doing something positive!

The awnings drop down like shutters in a storm I reckon - much of the value is in getting the future occupants to participate in the fabrication process.

Exactly.

He's doing something.  And it's more than just a handout.

It looked like the bolted then up, it wasn't clear that they had a stow mode to secure down, even the travel position looked a bit non optimal for big storms. Maybe it just wasn't obvious. Still, I like the idea.
