About a week after DT '09, my wife and I flew over and spent 3 weeks in Nepal.  We went there to help support an orphanage.  Quite the adventure!
While at DT '09, Dude MacLean taught a class on passive heating and cooling.
The orphanage in Nepal had neither a refrigerator or any heating... and those marble floors get cold in the
winter.  While in Nepal, I took the info I'd learned in Dude's class and put it to good use, laying out
the basic design for both the ceramic pot heater and water evaporative coolers.
It was well received by the staff and hopefully more are being assembled.
A special thanks to Dude for a most timely class!  Should warm children's feet if not hearts.

Nicely done!

That's what it is all about, learning and then teaching what you have learned.

Good Job!
